BlueSoleil is a Bluetooth software/driver for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux, WinCE, Windows Mobile etc. Its latest version 6.0, supports Bluetooth chipsets from CSR, Broadcom, Marvell etc. A version (not necessarily the current one) is often bundled with Bluetooth dongles, PCs, Laptops, PDAs, PNDs and UMPCs.
Bluesoleil has been developed by IVT Corporation.
IVT started to develop BlueSoleil in 2002. Their design philosophy has been centered on ease of use. IVT has focused to simplify some of the more technical aspects of bluetooth such as searching for devices, paring, using various profiles, and establishing connections.
